Provider and scope
These Terms govern SnapTogether, operated by Jan Tempel, Wiesenstraße 1, 67487 Maikammer, Germany, snaptogether@web.de. They apply when you register or use a guest session, join or create an event, upload content or interact with an event gallery.
Service and eligibility
SnapTogether provides shared event galleries. Event creators must use a registered, non-anonymous account. Invited guests may join without an email address through an anonymous guest session. You must be legally permitted to use the service and provide the content you upload.
Guest access
A guest session has a unique technical account and a device-held session credential. You are responsible for protecting access to that device and session. A guest session can be used across joined events on that device, but it may not be recoverable on another device after app data is cleared or the session is lost unless an account-conversion or recovery feature is available. Loss of the session does not waive statutory privacy rights; requests outside the active session may require enough event or membership information to verify that data can safely be attributed to you.
Hosts and participants
Hosts are responsible for invitation links, event settings, participant communication and moderation, and should inform guests about the shared gallery and obtain any permission required for their event. Participants must respect the event context and the rights and privacy of others.
User content
You retain your rights in photos, captions, comments and other content. You grant SnapTogether a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free permission to store, process, resize, display, transmit, synchronize, cache, moderate, export and delete that content only as needed to provide the service. Other event members may view or interact with it according to event settings. You must not upload illegal, harmful or rights-infringing content or photos without an appropriate legal basis or required permission.
Access, exports and retention
Visibility, upload and download rights, sharing, archives, missions, awards, compliments and moderation depend on event settings and server permissions. Registered users and guests with an active session can export personal data assigned to that identity. The export is distinct from an event archive and contains structured account or guest data plus the user's own stored media. Event content follows the configured retention period and deletion behavior. Clearing local app data does not itself delete server data; contact us for a request that cannot be completed in the active session.
Security and availability
You must not bypass authentication, permissions, quotas or security controls, scrape or overload the service, or use unauthorized automation. SnapTogether may change or limit features for security, legal or operational reasons and cannot promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage.
Termination and liability
You may stop using SnapTogether at any time. Data and access are removed according to implemented deletion flows, retention, legal obligations, security records and backups. We may restrict access for violations or material risk. Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by law; mandatory liability remains unaffected.
